I'm going through what I am referring as my Striped Wiener Period... since I am making art that is heavily laden with dachshunds and stripes.

It is not all wiener though.. I try something new everyday.. but I am liking making some of these smaller and more fun pieces.

I am still in the process of adding all of my work to my shop.. like this painting which is a mix of acrylic painting and drawing.. I was inspired by an amazing spider I saw once with striped legs - and plants- and the muscle of my dog's leg...

This work began when I spied some tiny bowling pins in my studio.. it is in my shop also... you can see it and all of the other work by clicking here. I have now 156 works of art on there.. I might be nuts, but on one hand it is nice to go through everything- but I am tired - and have slowed down a lot... I think that is how the Striped Wiener Period began.. I needed to make art that I can do between cleaning, organizing and listing works.. wieners inspire me like that.
